Remembering and Continuing the LSD Legacy

The LSD Legacy Commemoration Day held last June 27, Friday, brought together members of the House of David Family, along with BOF employees and officers, in a heartfelt gathering to honor Ladislao Sibal David or “Papa Choy”, the man whose vision and leadership paved the way for BOF to become a beacon of empowerment in the countryside. This meaningful event held at the San Fernando JASA Branch marked the culmination of the first-ever LSD Legacy Week Celebration.

The tribute began with “SuLi: Sustaining Life on Earth,” a tree-planting activity in Ayala, Magalang, reflecting Papa Choy’s deep love for plants and gardening. Beyond this, the celebration extended to the communities that BOF serves, as all 22 branches across Central Luzon participated in honoring his legacy.

As BOF looks to the future, the LSD Legacy Commemoration Day serves as a reminder that the same values and principles that guided its late Chairman Emeritus remain at the core of the bank’s operations. By working with utmost professionalism and placing our clients’ needs first, we honor our roots while staying committed to nurturing growth, trust, and service beyond our counters.
